Panasonic LCD Projector Control Panel

This Control Panel allows to remotely control a Panasonic LCD projector connected to the PC through a serial link.

WARNING: This software comes without any warranty: use at your own risk!

Requirements:

• A Linux system. Actually, porting the tool to other Unices, and even to Win*os, should be relatively easy, but this has not been done yet.
• A model of Panasonic LCD projector that can receive commands through a serial port. Supported models include PT-L711, PT-L701, PT-L701SD, PT-L511, and PT-L501.

The toolkit is in alpha stage (current version 0.5), and it is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

To install the tool, fetch its source code (a 316KB gzipped tar archive), uncompress the files, and just type "make". You need the Qt library, version 3.0 or later.

For your convenience, here is a statically linked Linux-i386 executable (3460KB gzip file).

By default, the tool blindy uses the first serial port (/dev/ttyS0). If the port is already in use by another application (mouse, minicom, pppd, ...), specify another device file name as first argument; for instance: ``$ ./pancp /dev/ttyS02''.
