I/O device states
The USB protocol distinguishes several I/O device states
- Attached: hub signals a plug in on a port
- Powered: hub configured and operational
- Default: USB has received the device descriptors
- Addressed: USB has assigned a 7-bit address to the device
- Configured: USB has checked that the device is addressable
- Suspended: device low-powered
