• Data wires do not include a CLOCK signal: asynchronous communication at 12 MHz

• NonReturn to Zero Invert (NRZI) encoding: the status of the D+ and D- lines is inverted when:

  • Two consecutive 0s have been transmitted
  • The sequence 10 has been transmitted

• Bit stuffing of 0 after 6 consecutive 1s
